The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The service level established for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
